As a global health organization, GBCHealth is committed to addressing the world’s most crucial health issues. While addressing issues of global health and wellbeing, we must continuously fight for groups of people who experience systemic inequity and injustice, including racism and racial inequities. COVID-19 has only exacerbated these issues, as the pandemic is having a greater impact on populations of color in the US and around the world.
The time for change is now. There is a lot of work ahead of us, but we must stand together against systemic racism and inequity in all forms – including the racial and economic disparities in health. We must work to ensure equity and justice for all.
