Step Up the Fight: Private Sector Engagement in Malaria Elimination, will take place on 23 April 2019 and will focus on innovation. It will be hosted by the Global Fund and APLMA. The objective of this event is to demonstrate the role that different private sector actors can play in driving innovation, mobilizing resources and awareness, and delivering malaria services to key populations. The expected audience will include government officials from 19 countries, development partners, and businesses with an interest in driving innovations in malaria elimination. Three initiatives will be presented and debated with the audience: (1) RAI2E Corporate Sector Platform (supply chain, mobile technology and digital finance); (2) M2030 (convergence of business, consumers and health organizations to increase awareness and funding for malaria in the Greater Mekong Subregion and Indonesia); and (3) engagement of private sector facilities for expanded and improved service delivery.
