Nairobi

Nairobi is a strategic city for businesses, NGOs and multilaterals in East and Central Africa, and the GBCHealth Nairobi office leads various initiatives to engage the business sector on health priorities. Our Nairobi office also provides advisory services, workplace trainings and connection brokering for GBCHealth members with operations and interests in the region. By leveraging GBCHealth’s strong relationships with governments, UN agencies and leading NGOs in the region, the Nairobi office can facilitate connections with key stakeholders and assist in the creation of public-private partnerships.

A central focus of the Nairobi office is the Partnership for an HIV-Free Generation, Kenya (HFG/K), a partnership with PEPFAR and the Government of Kenya. This partnership is a unique collaboration between the public and private sector that will accelerate the Government of Kenya’s HIV prevention strategy and contribute to the realization of an HIV-free generation. GBCHealth’s Nairobi office engages both national and multinational companies to partner with the Government and development partners in the creation and expansion of innovative and effective youth-centered programs intended to inspire positive behavior change in youth aged 10-24 years in Kenya.
