Johannesburg

With over 100 members (MNCs, NGOs and Southern African headquartered companies) present in Southern Africa, the GBCHealth Johannesburg office serves as our hub for corporate engagement on health on the African continent.

Located at the epicenter of both the HIV/AIDS and HIV-TB co-infection epidemics, we work closely with members to protect and educate their workforces. We provide opportunities for companies to invest in communities, develop platforms for members to highlight best practices and convene leaders to map out joint action plans. GBCHealth’s Johannesburg office also focuses on broader health and development issues, such as our Healthy Women, Healthy Economies initiative, which provides member companies with opportunities to invest in private-public partnerships focused on changing the developmental outcomes of women and girls. Healthy Women, Healthy Economies focuses on five intervention areas: Health, Education, Economic Empowerment, Gender Based Violence and Engaging Men & Boys.
