The Year Ahead: 2012 GBCHealth Events

GBCHealth is proud to announce the 2012 Events Calendar - our most far-reaching global events line-up yet. We welcome member companies and our partners from governments, multilaterals and civil society to share ideas, actions and outcomes through this year’s networking and thought-provoking events.

Every year, across the globe, GBCHealth provides leading thinkers with the platforms to discuss the essential role of business in addressing global health challenges. More than 3,000 people engage with GBCHealth at its hosted events each year. Whether it be the singular GBCHealth Annual Conference and Awards Dinner; teleconferences featuring the best minds in global health; technical workshops that dig deep; or member meetings for sharing and networking, GBCHealth Global Events deliver professional growth, invaluable connections and energized work for all who attend.

Along with a new expanded mandate, GBCHealth has also expand our event strategy and reach in 2012. Currently hosting events in 12 countries, we hope to make GBCHealth and our convenings accessible to all. In Africa, we will focus on endemic infectious diseases and introduce our first convenings on issues of nutrition and NCDs, while our China office will lead a robust series of events and introduce our first gatherings in Hong Kong and Bangkok. Mexico, Argentina and the Caribbean will host member meetings and topical workshops as we broaden our global audience to include Latin American; and Europe is home to regular GBCHealth engagements with the Global Fund and other multilateral and EU government forums. For the globally mobile, our Expert Connections Teleconferences (ECTs) allow members to attend informative sessions, interviews and forums no matter their location.
